The Carriage, Motor, 3-inch Gun, T55E1 (abbreviated as T55E1 GMC), is an American prototype wheeled tank destroyer developed in 1943. It was nicknamed «Cook Interceptor» after its designers.

The T55E1 role in combat was assumed as fire support of advancing infantry, while being able to operate on any type of surface.
